5 Galentine’s Ideas
The Christmas season has come to an end, the reset has been done, and stores and shops are filled with pinks and reds, hearts and bows. The Valentines spirit is in the air and this year calls for a girls evening out. I have collected a few of my favourite Galentines ideas from the past years and hopefully it helps you in the planning of a fun and love-filled party this year.
- Bouquet making. Have each of your friends bring a bouquet of their favourite flower which will all be laid out on a table for everyone to arrange their own personalized bouquet to take home. Prepare brown wrapping paper to wrap the flowers, sharp shears to trim the stems as well as cute ribbon or string to tie the bouquet.
2. Sip and paint. This one especially calls for a relaxing evening of conversation while brainstorming and executing those paint dreams we all have saved on our Pinterest. For the wine connoisseurs, bring out those beautiful wine glasses and add your favorite drink for a perfect evening.
3. Heart shaped pizza. Prepare a list of toppings your friends can bring and let the baking begin. Feel free to play around with the size, either small single/bite size pizzas or several larger ones to share with the group. Some Italian music in the background will add the perfect touch and create that comfortable atmosphere.
4. Tote bag decorating. These can be personally embroidered using string or beads, painted or even with iron-on patches. Tip: search for tote bags in bulk orders for cheaper online.
5. Pick a theme. Once you have a theme, your guests can arrive coordinated to your theme. Some ideas: specific colors, pajamas, formal, the “I-have-nowhere-to-where-this-dress”, etc. Feel free to decorate your place in accordance to the theme to elevate the vibe and style you are planning.
